Tammy, one of our visitors, is seeking information on this clock which was given to her. It seems to be an “Eclipse Regulator Clock”. It is a wall mount pendulum clock with key. Appears to be oak finish.
Tammy writes: “It actually resembles one you have listed on your website titled ‘Antique New Haven Calendar Wall Clock‘. Only mine says Eclipse. I can’t seem to find any information on it. I have attached a few photos of the clock. Any info you or others may be able to come up with would be much appreciated. Thanks!”

Ok, let’s see if we can help Tammy out. If you have any information you could share with us in regard to this beautiful clock, please post it here. I think that’s one of the great things about blogs — they allow people to help and be helped! Thanks everyone!

Tammy,
I believe this clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. (see website: http://www.seththomas.com). Unfortunately, they don’t have an historical archives dept. and I haven’t yet been able to find anything on this particular model. So hopefully another clock collector out there will be able to fill us in eventually.
Meanwhile, here’s some history on the Seth Thomas Clock Co. you may find of interest:
